The Brightside Project is Columbiana County’s partner for the Imagination Library of Ohio. Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine launched the Imagination Library of Ohio in 2019. Columbiana County children ages birth through 5 can enroll to receive a free, developmentally appropriate book from the Imagination Library of Ohio every month. Books are shipped directly to the child’s home an promote early literacy in the home.

The Brightside Project partnered with Salem Parks & Recreation to create The Storybook Trail at Salem’s Waterworth Memorial Park. The Storybook Trail features kiosks that guide walkers through an Imagination Library book as they go through the trail.
